ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER NEW BUSINESS
Hello from the desk of the Ashland Alliance! It is a great time to be in Kentucky. We are celebrating the first steps to life feeling back to a new normal with over 60,000 people receiving COVID-19 vaccines. I appreciate each one of you and what you have done to help make this community as safe as it has been for all. It was one year ago that the Alliance was working with the State of Kentucky on sourcing PPE for our first responders, having no idea what the other side of this crisis would look like. Today we are one step closer to finding our way and moving ahead. Thank you.
Today we are also celebrating a new business’ grand opening ribbon cutting! Home Builders Supply, LLC, located at 1560 Diederich Blvd. in Russell, had a wonderful event this afternoon. This building supply outlet is just what we needed for the housing and construction market we are experiencing. They offer great value and a large selection of new quality building supplies. We are happy to welcome them to our community.
Next week the Alliance is hosting our first in-person Full Board Meeting in over a year! We are honored to be partnering with DESCO Credit Union as our host to see their new facility on the corner of 12th and Carter in Ashland. The next three Full Board Meetings will be hosted at different locations to highlight the growth and development of our area. Each meeting is scheduled to be in-person but, we have learned the value of virtual as well. We are going to attempt to live stream every event we have and share to the world what this organization and this community has to offer.
I appreciate each one of you and your businesses. We are here to serve you and look forward to sitting down with you individually to find ways to make you even more successful.
