FINDING A WAY TO HELP

It feels like Groundhog Day again as we await for a return to normal or perhaps a new normal. We have been keeping business hours with one person in the office each day for the help that many of you have needed during this COVID-19 outbreak. Nearly everyday we have found a way to cut through the red tape and make connections for our members and the community. It’s a new normal but it goes to the core of being there for you when you need us.

Late last night we received the President’s plan and guidelines for the reopening of the national economy. This along with the work of the State of Kentucky has shown us how we can support each other, lend a helping hand, and start the economic engine of the business sector. For many, this can’t happen too soon. But there is another side of this. We know no country, state, or area has beaten this virus yet. We must continue to practice caution to protect ourselves and others.

In the next week we will roll out to you new information on the plan to reopen our economy as it becomes available. But there is information that you can use now to help our local businesses too. Just today I was working in the office and wondering what I was going to have for lunch. I went to the Alliance webpage because I knew all the local restaurants that offered pickup were listed in one place! I had a great Rapid Fired Pizza that hit the spot!

We are here. Use us for the help you need to get to the other side of this. Collectively, we will get through this. Use the Alliance website and the up to date information there for your benefit. Thank you, for the opportunity, to make us strong again.
